This painting was inspired by one of my favorite seasons. Seasons can sometimes trigger nostalgia.
My memories are of fall gallery walks, pulling out my favorite hoodie, and fun times on Halloween. Autumn colors are tied to comfort, safety, and familiarity. We hold on to many past memories as a fun, and simpler time and many of those memories are shared through pieces of artwork that we’ve seen in passing.
